great tenut Rhéffard Tauber in a masterpiece of melodie joy should draw a good house at the Queen's "Broadway Melody of 1935" Theatre. In it Tauber as a poor teacher and composer falls in love with the landlord's daughter to find that she is in love with an other who in turn is tied to another titled lady by court rules. With the idea of getting enough money' to marry Vicki, Tauber stages a concert and after being booed and hissed turned out to be a great success. Though his machinations he was able to get Rudi and Vicki married and reunited the. Crown Princesa to' her old love.
Jane Baxter plays the part of Vicki to perfection, while Rudi, the Count, is played by Cari Famond.
The picture is not devoid of its humorous
