Vickers-Arm- strongs, Lt., via:-"Orion,” for the", Orient Steam "Navigation Company, Cd., and "Strathmore" for the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company, are fitted with water-tube bollers having a working pressure of 450 lbs. per sq in. It is notable, however, that a working pressure of 1,850 lbs. per sq. in. in an installation of a "Loeffler" boller was fitted for the Italian liner "Conte Rosso.”
