Tiny Star Wins The South China Cup
"LARGE CASH SWEEP
PRIZES
Inclement weather somewhat marred the Second Extra Exce Meeting of the Macao Jockey Club which was held at Macno yesterday. The attendance was poor, 'due no doubt to the drizzle which prevailed during the last few days, In consequence of which dividends on the whole suffered.
Chief interest was centred on the South China Cup in con- nection with which the big $2 sweep organised by the 9.0.A.A. was based. Tiny Star (Ticket No. 061393) ably ridden by Mr. P. P, Botelho came first, followed hy Copper Idol (Ticket No. 055069), and Rousseau (Ticket No. 095330). The first prize yielded $53,558.76. Payments on this sweep will be made an the certified. drawings of the Stewards.
MrY. T. Fung was the most successful jockey of the day, re- turning two firsts, while Mr. Pih had a flext and a second with Mr. P. P. Botelho and Mr. G. U. da Roza scoring a first and a third each.
Tike
The Ladies Race proved to be an exciting affair, stewards allowed the jockeys to use whips Miss J. Dowbiggin on Plain View came in first to pay her thirty six backers $11.60 cach
SHER O STAKES (ONCE ROUND)

At the last quarter Tin Ho still led ably challenged by Flamingo, Beginner's Luck and Blacksmith. The last namad pony was nosed out for third place by Beginner's Luck.
