GOWN IN GRECIAN MOTIF
Glamour, grace and the most brillant of the new season's styles are caught in a lovely evening gown worn by Ginger Rogers in
RKO Radio Pictures' "Tamed."
The dress, distinctly Grecian in motif, is made of heavy pebble salin in a rich green. The fabric is gathered onto a heavy cord at the neck, falling in draped folds to the floor. In back, the bodice is slashed to the waistline, the fabric casually gathered on to the cord at each shoulder to permit an open decolletage. To belt the KOWNL Miss Rogers wears a lovely Grecian girdle made of polished oval medallions in silver, each set with qus rhinestones. Bernard Newman is the designer.
FABRIC CREATES WINTER SUIT
Here's news; a suit styled to f the fabric instead of selecting the fabric to at the suit. The fabric is a rough brown wool made with a heavy tufted stripe in beige and dark brown. The suit, designed by. Walter Plunkett. 13 Work by Helen Broderick in RKO Radio's To Beat the Band.
The facket or, the ensemble is loose-fitting in back, resembling
2 cape, with narrow gores adding the fullness The gores are cut so that a tufted stripe runs through the centre of each. The "belt of the jacket is edged with the tuft- ed, striping which is also used to create the tle fastening the pleated collar. Her brown felt military tricorn nat is trimmed with the striped material,
RICH COLOUR FEATURES ENSEMBLE
It's a year for deep, rich colours and marpon is one of the far- ourites. One of the BERSON'S smartest ensembles featuring this lovely colour is worn by Anne Shirley, who will soon be starred In RKO Radio's "Long Ago Ladies,"
Anne's trock is attractively tailored" in maroon wool, the square pockets trimmed with. wooden buttons stained to match. A novel note is supplied at the neck of the frock. Here the bodice is fastened with white cording run through square wooden loops.

With the frock, Anne wears a knee-length coat of basket-weave tweed in maroon and white strip ings. The edge of the cuffs and bard rovers are fringed. A shovel- shaped stitched hat and slippers matching the frock complete the ensemble.

are the keynote of the newest fall styles.
Following this mode, Beity Gra- ble, RKO Radio Pictures player, Has chosen bottle green velvet, the shade reminiscent of Renaissance afternoon paintings, for a new frock. The frocks cut along straight Hailored ties with fitted sleeves. A green and gold lame kerchief is pulled under the deep, pointed collar to tie in back. Cry- stal buttons, inset in gold are used to fasten the frock.
Most charming of all is the quaint, schoolgirl hat which is styled with a stitched, rolled-back brim. A gold ink ornament; tacked beneath the brim in the centre front, is the only trimming.
ALASKAN SEAL TRIMS SMART

Crescent-hiped revers of Alas- kan seal trim the collarless jacket of a smart street suit worn by Princess Natalle Paley, who is making her American motion plc- ture debut in Katharine Hepburn's latest RKO Radio Picture. "Sylvia Bcarlett"
The suit is made of a light weight wool in hunter's green, and beside the revers the real is used to band the hem of the jacket and the sleeve cuffs. Brown and green irridescent coque feathers trim the brown felt hat worn with the en- semble, which was designed es- pecially for the Princess by Walter
Plunkett.

Metallic taretas are among the "season's smartest fabrics. Such a fabric in gun metal was chosen by Lucille Ball for her newest evening gown.
The dress is styled with a halter bodice, Ankhed at the waist with & ruffled peplum. Skirt fullness is gained by means of diagonal gores. Just below knee level a shower of of made parf-coloured zinnias velvet is caught in the skirt. A corsage of zinnias trim the bodice.
