The Japan Amalgamated Can- nery Company's cargo ship Etcku Maru (2,951 tons), which has been missing since Oct. 26, was declared "sunk” 180 miles of Noto, Inhikawa prefecture.

The entire crew of 38 are be. Heved to have been drowned.

According to a wireless message received by the Wakasa Station from the Aki Maru. of the firm, the wreckage of the Eltoku Maru Including part of the bridge and doors of cabins was found.

Freight And Asiatic Passengers Returns

(BY LONGSHOREMAN), The freight returns, received from the Harbour Office during the 24 hours ended at 9 am yesterday show a moderate ton- nage movement, a large proportion of which being made up by Japanese ships.

The total tonnage of general cargo carried by vessels to the Colony was 2.974 tons, with British steamers carrying 950 tons.
