For example, the screen story writer, the producer, director, set-designer and cameraman, all have taken the original story just as the author created it--without changing a single idea, character or theme. There was a good turn out with Mr. E. D. da Roza, (President) in the chair, supported by Mr, M. N. Rakusen (Hon. Secretary). It was explained by the latter that he wished to emphasise to all that it was not the intention of the As- sociation to confine their activites solely to running championships,. but that they wished to form a league of two divisions, if possible. It was fairly obvious, however and could easily be appreciated by those present, that it was too late to adopt the latter course this year.

THE ARRANGEMENTS After. the minutes of the pre- vious meeting had been read and adopted, the Chairman addressed the meeting as follows:

Before I ask the. Hon, Secretary to read the rules, to you seriatim, I would touch on the frame work of the rules briefly.
