Silver prices were unchanged yesterday, the quotations remaining at 29 3/16 for Ready and 281 for Forward, Advices reported India sold. America bought. The mar ket closed steady.
The American price for Silver was unchanged at 651 for spot.
The London/New York cross rate was slightly higher at 4:93) and the New York/London rose 1/4 to 4.931.

Towards the close 1/5 11/16 was arranged for near delivery finishing with sell- ers at 1/3 for November. 1/5 for first half of December, 1/5 7/18 for December and 1/5 3/18 for January, buyers at 1/18 higher re- spectively.
