The Indian Recreation Club started the intial Senior League cricket very brightly when on Saturday they. dereated a strong Army eleven. Thanks to their "speed merchang* F. D. Pereira who captured 7 wickets for 38 runs the Army, was dismissed for

The Army started disastrously and lost three wickets for 18 runs, when Life Dawson and Major Bonavia came in to stoo the rot Their partnership realised 67 runs. Dawson claiming 45 and Boonvia 28. With the exception of Cpl. Ballard who scored 35 before he was clean bowled by Pereira, o other batsman reached double igures!
Going in to bat the Indians lost their first wicket for 28 runs and the rate they went about collecting their runs nearly lost them their match. however their tail wagged and they managed to collect both points, Lt. Garthwalte collected

At The Queen's
"In Caliente" which opened its season at the Queen's Theatre, with the. beautiful Dolores Del Rio, is one of the greatest successes of the year
Here is a musiani comedy that has everything it needs- thread of a story that is amusing and melodies that will not soon be for plausible, un exceptional cast, and gotten, and lavishness in details. without which any fim would, these days be a failure.
Miss Del Rio in the leading role once again proves that her real talent lies in such a film as this. and pushing to St his part per Pat O'Brien is sufficiently eruda fectly, without any of the aire and graces which used to be considered BO necessary for a leading ca in such a story. No doubt all those who see this picture are thankful for the reappearance of Edward Everett Horton, that most original comedian, in a part that suited him. admirably while the same goes to Leo Carillo. W
The minor parts are all well cast and the settings and dances left very little to be desired. All in all this is an exceptionally good ought not to be picture and missed, "O"
