According to Miss Mow Fung. Hunorary Secretary of the Street Sleepers' Association, great dif ficulty is being experienced in est- ablishing a shelter on the main- land. For the past few months the officials of the Association have been attempting to secure a place at Yaumati for the purpose of establishing a shelter for Kow- ioon's homeless, but no suitable building could be rented. The only vacant places in that locality
are Chinese fats, which are im- possible to convert into a ahelter.
