A decidedly better feeling pre- valled in the market dung the week under review; and enquiries for shares were far more plentiful than has been the case for some time past. I look as if confidence is being gradually restored and although there were no sharp rises in prices. demand for
great number of stocks was steady throughout the week and sellers were few and far between. The drop in exchange was also re. sponsible to some extent for 11 and increased demand for Banks Unlons at enhanced prices.
