Good Game On C.C.C. Green

The Shanghal Interport Lawn Bowls Team suffered their second defeat yesterday when they went down to

combined IRC, and C.C.C team on the C.C.C. green by 20 shots to 11.

The standard of play was not as high as in the other matches but it had its bright patches.

The game was played at a fast pate with the Signals doing all tite attacking, but the Blackburn and Howard were playing a great game and broke up their repeated

attacks.

Local Exhibition

An exhibit of photographs of Japan both of scenic and cultural Interest 13 opened to the pubic at the Chinese YM.C.A. in Bridges Street, on Wednesday and Tours- day, October 16 and 17.' from @2. p.m. to 9 pm. each day.

These photographs are enlarge- ments of snapshots taken. during the recent Cv.tural Inspection Tour of Japan organized by the Lingnan University of Cantos, by one of the members of the Party. Mr. Ho Tit Wah, an enterprising young artist..

The tour covered such places as: Osaka, Tokyo, Yokohama: Fujiya- ma. Kobe, and other less import- ant towns, and during the entire trip Mr. Ho took no less than 500 snap-shots, of which he has placed sothe 250 enlargements or exhibit.

At the close of this exhibit Mr. Ho wil leave immediately for the North for similar exhibits in other Important centers.

Those who like to view Japan at cise range are cordially invited.'
