The following correspondence is communicated with the com- pliments of the Colonial Secretary, as illustrating the advantages to be derived from the new air Unk, the opening experimental flight in connection with which was successfully accomplished by Captain W. Armstrong. Both despatches were carried by Captain Armstrong's aeroplane.

THE RETURN FLIGHT

It is my hope that these experi- mental fights will be followed in the near future by the inaugura- tion of a regular air service to Hong Kong, for both passengers and mails and that such a provision of speedy and direct communication Piloted by Captain W.
