DISMISSED HIS SHIP

Paymaster Lieutenant, H. E. C. Wright, of H.M.S. Tamar, has been dismissed his ship, and severely reprimanded on three charges of neglect of duty.

He was tried by Court Martial on Friday and was found guilty of the charges, two other counts of forgery and fraudulent conversion not being proved.

Amelie Landolt, daughter of the late Mr. J. Landolt and a well

known local ady hockey player was married to Mr. H. P. Rees of the s.aft of Messrs. WI- Ham Powell, Ltd. on Saturday at the Lady Chapel of St. John's Cathedral on Saturday. The cere mony was performed by the Rev. H. W.. Baines, Mr. Lindsay Lafford rendered appropriate music .at the organ.

The bride who was given away by her brother Mr. J. S. Landolt of the Purchasing Department of the CP.R. looked charming in a creation of ivory-white lace by Mme. D'Obry. Mrs. J. 8, Landolt was the matron of honour and the bridesmaids were Miss G. White and Ittle Wilma Way, while the duties of best man were under- taken by Mr. Thomas Paton. "Miss White wore a pretty costume of saxe-blue organdie, with ́a Wat- teau shepherdess hat of the same colour and carried a sheaf of pink gladioli.

Subsequent to the wedding a reception was held at No. 338 Wong Nei Chung Road. The honeymoon is to be spent in Ja pan.
