The Season Brought To An End

The official League season was brought to a close last Satur- day when the remaining matches in both Leagues were played ott. The one bright spot was the convincing way in which the C.C.C. They may, for all I know to the contrary, be over-optimistic, but I willing to agree that a man who can come back and 'win after taking four long counts must have something.
Salah El Din is probably not in the world champion department. but he has been boxing for sever- al years, has all the experience he needs, and can hit..
My feeling is that Wilde, the owner of a famous name in pugli- ism, has joined the stars.
There is no reason on earth why
he should not be given a match with Petersen.
If it is decided at Swansea or
Cardin it might attract a record attendance.
Two titles could be at stake--the
