rict Attorney, is leaving Shanghai by plane for Hankow, where he wil investigate the circumstances sur- rounding the arrest of two Shang-' gat Americans, Mr. Carl J. Lemek: and Mr. Eugene Brinson. He will decide whether or not to prefer charges against the two.
It is believed that the two Ameri- cans, together with a Mr Brian E. Naldis and a fourth man, whose identity has not been revealed, are being held in connecdon with an attempt to secure the release of Joseph Walden, who is now serving a fifteen years' sentence to Wu- chang for espionage.
