Geneva, September -4.
The tension here which has been at fever heat for the last few days was relaxed to a certain extent by the news of the withdrawal of the Abyssinian oil concession. It is hoped that this will clear the atmosphere for diplomatic discussions, which have already begun.
No agreement, however, has even yet been reached as to the procedure to be adopted at the session this afternoon. This was the subject of a long conversation between M. Laval and Mr. Eden this morning when the question was discussed whether France and Britain should each present a separate report on the abortive Three-Power Abyssinisa conference held in Paris or whether a joint report in the name of both countries should be read,
The third possibility now being weighed, It is understood, is that a joint written report be submitted on which M., Laval and Mr. Eden should each make commentaries.
Whether the public session will be held to-day is extremely doubtful. A secret session begin at 4 pm, and will probably last a long time. It depends therefore on the result and dura- tion of this session whether the public session can follow- Transocean Kuo Min.
