The inquest into the death of Cheung Yau, a 19-year-old-stone- breaker, who died at the Rowicon Hospital on July 20TM a victim of rables was continued before Mr. E I. Wynne-Jones at the Kowloon "Magistracy yesterday.
After careful consideration and retiring for 65 minutes the jury empanelled returned the following verdict.
We find one Cheung Yau died from rabies.
We suggest the possibility of improving the organisation of the treatment of rables locally by:
(a) graduation of doses accord- Ing to the gravity of the infection and (b) closer checking kept of the records of individual cases.
