Lawn Bowls was one more in full swing lust week but nothing unexpected happened with the ex- ception of the defeat of Recreio in the Junior Division by the K.C.C. by 14 shots. This defeat has now put the Kowloon Bowling Green Juniors in a very unassatiable poslable to do it. Playing at home and away are two different things ai- ogether and with the C.C.C. skips playing at the top of their form everything points to a great tussle to-morrow,

The Civil Servants after their gecd showing of a couple of weeks ugo unexpectedly went down to the Indians. Strange as it may seem. the Indians have have so far lost only one match at home and that was against the Recreio.
The Indians won on two of the three rinks. The biggest defeat being inflicted by Dallah's four on Hollidge's quartette. Despite the efforts made by Grimmitt and his men to offset the 11 shots defeit he was unable to do so, "being only able to snatch 29 shots victory over Mina's four.

Recreto have two very rellable skips on which to depend upon. In C. G. Silva they haye about one of the best skips in Hong Kong at present. He is capable of doing big things in a match of this na- ture and with such men as Noronha and F. V. V. Ribeiro to support him the C.C.C. skip, whoever he may be, will And in him a hard nut to crack.
The result of this encounter Will have a strong bearing in the des-

Both the G.S.C.C. and the Kow- loon Docks are not playing as well as might be expected. THE JUNIORS
The Cricketers were well beaten by Recreio although in the first few heads it looked as if they were going to be given a good run for their money as the Cricketers were more than holding their own. Guttierrez did well to beat Fraser by 5 shots, his one and two were playius very well whereas Overy and Tanebi toi Fraser could not get going at all and played very badly indeed. Fincher and Fraser played well under the circumstances but could not manage to pull it off.
