The market opened with sellers at 2/1-1/2 with business done at 2/1-9/16 for near delivery. Sub- sequently sellers came out at 2/1- 5/8, at which rate, business was done for near delivery followed by transactions" at 2/1-11/16 fox August. At this stage, the market reacted and business was done at 2/1-5/8 for cash and second half of August and 2/1-9/18 for July and August. The market closed with sellers at 2/1-1/2 for July- August and 2/1-9/16 for Septem- ber, buyers at 1/16 higher respec- tively.

Business was done at 52-15/16 for cash and 53-1/8 for September. Later the market eased off and transactions were arranged at 52- 13/15 for August and 52-3/4 for second half of August. The market closed at 1 pm. with, sellers at 52- 3/4 for July-August and 52-13/18 fo September, buyers at 52-13/16 for July August and 52-15/18 for September.
