Malay Volunteers Celebrate

Singapore, July 8.

iri The volunteer Drill Hall Beach Road was filled yesterday with over 300 people, including His Excellency the Governor and Lady Thomas, as guests of "F" (Malay) Company. Singapore Volunteer Corps, who were celebrating the silver jubilee anniversary of their formation.

CAPT. GRABURN'S SPEECH A short speech on the celebra- tion of the anniversary was made by Capt. Graburn, who said the had formerly been company.
