TRAGEDY
Officer Found Shot
Aghasty discovery was made at the Mongkok Police Stakan, on Thursday night when the body of Crown Sergeant James Francis Kennedy, of the Hong Kong Police: Force, was found in his room shortly before midnight., with a bullet wound in his head. A re- volver was found tying by his side.
Circumstances indicated that the unfortunate man tock his own life. This is therefore the third suicide of an officer of the Force since November last year,
The late Sergeant Kennedy, 37 years of age, and unmarried, and a native of Castledown. Mullingar, Ireland. former-being in the Royal Irish Constabulary. He joined the Hong Kong Police In December, 1922, and had been in the Crimin al Investigation Department since 1936.
