The mission to which they are attached has decided that the ran- som cannot be paid.
The two missionaries are Mr. Ru- dolf Bosshardt, who is or Swiss uclgın, und Mr. A. Hayman, a New
Zealander. They are in the hands of the notorious bandit Holung.
The bandits have issued an uliy matum saying that they will be put to death on May 9 unless the ransom demanded for them is paid and the anti-aircraft guns asked for in addition to the ransom are received.
