There was excitement galore in the Home football matches on Saturday and despite the "end-of-the-season" feeling in some quarters, the standard of play was quite high and on the whole Saturday might well have been voted "another successful week- end."

The Arsenal reached their “century" when they scored one goal against Wolves but they had to be content with sharing the points.
