I have the hour to report that the disturbances in the neighbourhood of
this Colony show us
signs of abatement. The Assistant Superintendent of Police has informed me that from 250 to 300 ficking boats, cach carrying a Gew of 10 on 12 persons, have taken refuge in the Rastern part of this Harbour, in consequence of their fear of capture
