The Hong Kong Ladies were given a surprise when they met the Recreio Ladies" in " Caér Clark Cup Tournament encounter and were held to a goalless draw at King's Park on Saturday,

A feature of the game was the brilliant defence of the Recreio. The forwards of the champions were most disappointing, in spite of the countless opportunities they were given to score.

Miss Z. Barros, playing at third back for the Recrelo was out- standing, saving her side from many anxious moments. Miss Osmund also played a good de- fensive game.

The Hong Kong Ladles had to thank Miss Helbing and Miss. Gray for the nine display they put up. Led by Miss Bulva-Netto, the Recreio inside trio were extremely dangerous.

The Recrelo played better than the champions, both in attack and defence, and they were unlucky

not to have won.
