Estover Does Fast Six Furlongs
(By"Morning Dew");
Quite a number of ponies were clicked on Saturday, when there was a distinct absence of fast work. "Estover, a grifita be- longing to Messrs. Lewis and Tinson, went over six furlongs -in 1.36.3, which is pretty good going, considering the last half-mile was in 103. Pacific Hall, Flybynight, and BoldTM Colonel others which moved well.
Among the subscription—grimins there were quite a number of good gallops, a good finish being put in by Invincible Knight............ at the end of a mile and a half gallop.”
Some of the Australians moved Impressively, particularly Got That, whose time, however, is on the slow side. We shall hear more of this pony yet!
