Vienna, Dec. 15. The Austrian Government h informed Herr Clemens Krauss, the Director of the Vienna State Opera who has accepted the post of director of the Berlin State Opera, resigned by Herr Furtwangler- that he would not be required to conduct any further operas be tween now and the date of the ex- piration of his contract.
