There was one in a peach colour- ed silk crepe with brown velvet rucked collar and a very pretty back effect that would look, stun- ning on a slim girl and this dress is moderately priced at $49.50.
For anyone needing a large size dress I noticed a pale blue satin gown with conttee to match, It is fairly plain but the lines of this Ther gown are very attractive: comes a model that was really outstanding in RUST COLOURED CREFE this gown had the square neck effect with a separate cape which falls into a beautiful grACE- ful effect in front and finished off with real sable tails.

Shanghai, Nov. 3. Mrs. A. P. Richards added to her success of the previous day, when she won the 18-hole singles against bogey: competition at Hungjao yesterday, in the con- cluding day's play at the Ladies Open Golf Meeting.
