AMERICAN ORIENTAL FINANCE CORPORATION AND S. E. LEVY & CO.
New York... Sept. 27. The American Oriental Finance Corporation's report through their New York agents, Messra. E. A Plerce & Co. states:-
Stocks: We still like the action of the market and believe that trading positions on the long-alde should be maintained.
Stocks: We believe that prices will be higher between now and the ections in November, but we would not buy too heavily. Busi- less done: 800,000 shares.
Bonds: United States Govern- ment Issues were easier. High- grades remained unchanged, but are developing strength. Second- grade issues made a slight gain.
Wheal:-There aire prospects that the next Corn crop estimate will be lower, which is a sustaining factor. Wednesday's sales: 17.03%,- 000 bushels. Corn sales: 7,541,000
Wheat:-The undertone was firm. Trading was moderate; with some disposition to await President Roosevelt's broadcast speech on Sunday evening. The seeding of Winter grains has made favourable i progress and, some increase in bushels.. acreage is anticipated.^.

LATE NIGHT
CABLES
The following cables were re- ceived last night from New York by the American Oriental Finance Corporation:--
London Forecast Unless any unfavourable develop- ment occurs during to-day's session, Wall Street is expected again to improve, though: the volume of business is not anti- cipated to increase.
Wheat: The marketing is light. Rubber: The market may open, a little better.
Cotton: Not much change is ex- pected.
Speculation is dormint, awaiting President Roosevelt's broadcast on Sunday.
A.O.F.C. New York Cables Stock: Week-end profit taking is kely but is limited waiting the President's Sunday speech, which is considered the important near term factor.
Cotton; Hedging is more active but there is "better support in evidence. Recent liquidation has undoubtedly improved the market technically, we would rather buy now on the scaledown.
