TRAINING GALLOPS
Particulars Of Yesterday's Tryouts At The Course
(BY "MORNING DEW")
Yesterday morning's gallops revealed a number of interest- ing things. One is the fact tha‹ Budge is in great form. The pony went over three quarters of a mile with Don and although he did not beat the grey, he kept well ap.. The time will show just what Budge did.
Another good gallop is that by Flying Tourist, who looks ex- tremely fit as the moment. The figures, in this case also speak for themselves.
Racing Boy finished his work full of running. National Day behaves ze though he is very fond of racing, and. will have to be watched when he strips for the race track on September 22.

Help From League Of Nations
According to private advices from Geneva, the 18th, annual meeting of the International Committee on Intellectual Co- operation attached to the League of Nations, which Was held in Geneva from July 21, devoted the whole day of July, 18. to the question of callaboration with China in the held of education. The following resolution was adopted:
Thé committee is fully aware of the complexity of the problems to be solved, and is primarily de- sirous of offering China opinions of the greatest possible variety and number from competent per- sonages selected in different countries: it does not, therefore, propose to recommend the re- solutions it considers preferable
in each case, but proposes instead, to place at the Chinese Govern- ment's disposal experts capable of helping that Government to. make selections and take deci sions in the work of reconstruc- tion which it has undertaken:
Has noted with much interest the admirable report which M. Maurette has laid before it on bis recent mission in China, and has pleasure in submitting that the Chinese Govern- report to ment for consideration:
Congratulates the Chinese Gor- ernment on the remarkable pro- gress achieved, thanks to its sys- "tematic action, in the field of public education and the organi zation of intellectual exchanges with the foreign countries:
