For stealing $122.50 from his father, Chung Ping. 19 was bound over in the sum of $100 to be of good behaviour for 12 months by Mr.

His Worship decided to give this defendant the benefit of the doubt" and discharged him.
As regards the other defendant. his Worship said the charge. of alding and abetting would not be appropriate and substituted a charge of procuring Leung Pan to pawn the rings. Defendant was convicted on this charge and sen- tenced to six weeks.
