: New York, Sept. 6. The American Oriental Finance Corporation's report through their New York agents. Messra, E. A Pierce & Co.. states:--
Stacks:-We think a test of the markets position will be seen to- morrow.
Wheat: The strength of the the market mostly came from strong Cash situation Liberal ship- ments of red wheat are expected from Chicago shortly. The strength. or outside markets was the prin- cipal influence. The report on the next visible supply will probably show a decrease. There was some profit-taking on bulges.
·Cotton:-The market was · nar- row. There was some small hedg- ing, Continental, Domestic and Trade buying and also some cover- ing. It is expected that the next Government Report will show the crop at about 9,000,000 bales..
Kubber:-The market opened steady on Commission House by ing but, later, Houses sold off with the decilne in the Stocks Market. Closed steady.

London Forecast Stocks: Wall Street is expected La open, lower. Bearish strike re- ports and possible week end strike demonstrations may accentunte
market nervousness.
Commodities: The Whent market: is expected to open slightly higher. unfavourable Australian cables off- setting favourable Canadian and Argentine prices.
In the Cotton market, weather conditions are slightly unfavour able with the possibility of frost. There is less hedge pressure and the market is expected to rule un- certain, pending definite progress of a settlement of the textile strike. The Rubber prices are expected
open a little lower.
Wheat: There was some buying ofta wheat, against sales of corn order to close spreads. The short- age of visible supplies and the strength of the cash market fur ther advanced prices. Wednesday's sales: 32,902,000 bushels.
Rubber:-The tightness of avall. able stocks of actual rubber and of near-by shipments is strengthen lng the position of the 'futures
market. Business done 422 lots.
