It would appear that the lad was playing with some of his brothers on the grounds at Gov- ernment Quarters, Mount Parish, when he overbalanced and fell into a nullah, "dropping 25 feet or more and landing on his head.
The accident happened at about 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon. He was admitted to the Government civil Hospital suffering from a fractured skull and passed away
late in the evening.

It is hoped that this new Indus- trial and Commercial Savings Bank will be opened for business in the Spring of 1935.

The extension of modern com- munications for the rehabillation of the North-West is not only for the purpose of developing economic resources but to provide an outlet for immigration, declares the "Central China Daily News" in an editorial comment on the Gov- ernment's plan. "Going West- ward" has become a popular alo- gan, and the Government, realize ing the necessity of developing that vast, rich and fertile region, is concentrating attention upon the construction of railways and highways and the establishment! of agricultural experimental sta- tions in the North-West, through the National Economic Council
