V.R.C. On Thursday

It is considered advisable to hold a re-trial for this race and if possible. to include Lau in the interport for this event, as Lawrence and Pe- reira will have their hands pretty full. If the Chinese swimmer de- serves inclusion in the team, he will have plenty of opportunity of showing it on Thursday when the 100 yards back stroke is од the card, and for which both Lawrence and Pereira are starting. It looks as if the record might be lowered further.

The second half of the racing season commences on September 9, when the Macao Jockey Club will hold their fourth extra meeting at the Arela Preta Course.
