Last Baturday the League pro- gramme was completely washed out for the second time. while three weeks previously only one game was played in each division, on the Kowloon side, the greens on the island being unplayable owing to heavy saturation by the has rain. The League schedule thus received a set back, but after all it might have been worse had. not some of the teams. in their enthusiasm for play rather than remain idle decided to carry out their fixtures, even though the ground conditions left much to be the competition is desired. As now in a very interesting stage with only a few matches ahead. bright weather this afternoon will help considerably in reaching de- fmite decisions which will have a bearing on the eventual end-of-Thompson (skip). the-season results.

The senior division honours are. the champions, in the hands of Kowloon Bowling Green Club and the Craigengower "A" team. The champloas told the advantage dy two points in ten games, their only defeat, being at the hands rivals, while of their Valley Craigengower have fallen before
Club- de arid their team Recreto, both of which were com- "pletely in the nature of upsets. They have six matches each still to complete and their return meet- ing happens to be the last fixture on the card. It is very doubtful which of them will finish at the top as some surprises are bound to occur when they are least expect- ed.
