Tt being a fine day, the number of spectators, who witnessed the events of this unprecedented meet in which were keenly contested by the Chinese boys and arts of the different schools and colleges of the Colony, was about double that of the three previous days. the venue for both sports

The great enthusiasm shown by the Chinese boys and giris for the aquatic and athletic games, shus the mentality of modern Chinese youth and its amblilon to posess a strong, constitution and a healthy physique which is the sole aim of the meeting, the first to be held in the Colony.
