Stocks: The tone of the market is encouraging and we would con-" sider it reasonable to expect a further slow improvement in prices.
Wheat:-Hedging and realising caused easiness, but prices rallied on evening up by local interests The movement in the South-West is increasing.
Cotton:-A broad demand de- veloped after the opening call under a moderate amount of new speculative purchases. Prices im- proved some 15 paints from the day's low levels. The weather in! the Eastern Belt is now more favourable than formerly.
Sliver:-The market was dull. Only 14 lots were traded.
