Stocks: The action of the mar- ket has been perfectly normal and we think that the general position is gradually being strengthened.
Wheat:-Outside interest
dis- appoints. The Winnipeg market hesitates, although the hopper plague still threatens The future continues to depend upon Weather conditions. The corr market is a leader on reports of chinch bug damage in illinois.

Cotton:--After considerable re- alising, prices early advanced to, new high ground for the March position. Liverpool bought here and there was a fairly active speculative demand. There was some cotton for sale on a basis of 12 cents for December. Weather conditions are mixed.
Silver:-Market Quiet: The bulk of sales represented exchange from July for September and December at respective differences of 20 and 45 points.
