The market, took a alight turn for the better on news bearing on the business situation and on an agreement being reached between the conferees on the Fletcher-Rayburn Bill to accept sa independent commission to administer a measure of help to bring about a farther small improvement in stock prices.
Wheat: Yesterday's momentum carried prices bigher but the unset- led weather forecast induced profit-taking, thus restricting demand.
Cotton: Business was small and tone steady. Prices advanced on the limited supply of contracts, rather than aggressive buying,
Silver: An undisclosed principal continued to buy. There was some scattered selling. Thirty four lots were tanded.
