Police Officer's Little. Daughter
The many friends of Mr, and Mrs. T. Murphy will learn will deep regret of the death of their little daughter, Colleen Mary, which oc- curred as the Kowloon "Hospital | yesterday morning.
The little girl was taken ill on Saturday, and on her condition becoming, serious was admitted to the hospital where her. com→ plaint was diagonised as blood
poisoning.
The funeral took place last oven- ing and was largely attended.

For the first time in the history of swimming in the Colony attempts to lower the times of five of the 'World's swimming le- cords will be made by the Japanese Far Eastern and World Olympic swiming stars at the European Y.M.C.A. Bath, Kow- foon, to-night.
Nineteen of the fastest swimmers ever seen in Hongkong will take part in the attempts to lower the records, which include the 100, 220 and 440 Yards in Free Style. the 150 Yards Back Stroke and the 200 Yards Breast Stroke Records. The exhibition is to be staged under auspices of the Hongkong International Amateur Swimming Association.
