OLD BANSHEE RETURNS"
Arrested And Sent To Gaol
An old Chinese named Wong Tul Kow, a returned banishee, pleaded guilty before Mr. Lee, at the Kowloon Magistracy on Satur- day morning, on a charge of re- turning to the Colony before the term of his banishment had expired.
The accused was banished from the Colony on the 4th October 1933 for a period of years, and was arrested in Shanghal Street. Yeumat by a Chinese detective last Friday evening.
When questioned, the defendant told the Court that he returned to the Colony to ask a friend for some money and clothes, A sen- tence of eight months' hard labour was passed.

Chinese Gets Six Months' Gaol
Before Mr. Lee as the Kowloon Police Court on Saturday morning. a Chinese named Wan Chôi" "Hing, described MA unemployed. was charged with theft of a radiator cap" from a motor-car, which was parked in Gascoigne Road, Yan- mati shortly after 11 p.m. last Friday night.
It was stated that the accused was arrested in Wing Sing Lane.. with the article in his possession. The defendant pleaded gulity and was sentenced to six months' hard labour.
