The A. O. F. Corp, has received the following report from their New York correspondents, E. A. Pierce & Co. Belling today was active enough to warrant the opinion that potential buyers should await devel opments. Usually, Saturday's markets give very little information, but, in view of the relative heaviness prevailing for the past week, today's action might possibly carry some significance.

Wheat: Sensational reports of dry weather caused an early advance, but prices eased in sympathy with stocks and possibilities of scattered showers. over the week-end. The market showed strength at the close.

Cotton: With Umited offerings, prices advanced rather easily on small buying by the Trade. The supply of contracts was quite free and, in the final half hour, there appeared further liquidation on long lines.

-Silver: The market was firm at the opening on foreign and commis- sion house buying and on impressions in some quarters that some sort of compromise may develop in connection with silver legislation." Business Done; 180,000 shares,
