Over 80 hockey enthusiasts including those who took part in the games against Malaya were present at the Interport Hockey dinner which took place at the Cafe de Luxe, China Emporium, last night, Mr. E. W. Hamilton, President of the Hong Kong .. Hockey Association being in the chair.

The steady growth of hockey in the East and an appeal to all players respond quickly to referees' decisions were stressed by the speakers which included Mr. E. W. Hamilton, Surg Commdr. Phillips, Captain of the Colony's team, and Mr. A. C. Cunning- ham Perdriau, Captain of the Malayan team."

The dinner was featured by four of the Malayan players being dressed in their native clothes, Messrs. Abbas, Baharom, Raja Mohammed, and Rahman.

Seated at the official table were Mr. J. S. de Souza, manager of the Malayan team, Mr. A. A. Dand, Vice-President of the Hong Kong Hockey Association, Mr. B. Preedy of the Malayan team, Lt.-Comdr. F. B. Leigh, R.N., Mr. W. A. Reed, Captain of the Colony's Civilian team, Mr. R. H. Wong, Hon. Treasurer of the H.K. Hockey Association, Mr. A. C. Cunningham Perdriau, Captain of Malaya, Surg. Lt.-Comdr. Phillips, Captain of the Colony team, Captain R. C. S. Bates of the Army, Mr. F. A. Kemp. Hon. Secretary of the Hong Kong Hockey Association and Mr. J. E. Potter of the Hong Kong Hockey Club.
