So great is the stability of the big modern liner that her, safety, angle of inclination from the up- right is as high as 75deg.. which, mearis that she could roll prac- tically on her beam ends without

THE UNCHANGING GREYHOUND
What are the points to-day of the perfect greyhound? I came across this rhyming catalogue the other day:,

The tall like a rat The side like a bream, The back like a beam."

"Sir," said the genial Baxter, "I have found a boy who, given health and freedom from accident, will play for England in seven years' time.”.
"The headmaster was sceptical, but Mr. Cranmer has more than fulfilled Mr. Baxter's expectations. By obtaining his cap in 1934 be has lopped a year off the original prophecy.
