London, March 9. AWARD TO MR. MOLLISON The Royal Aero Club announces that the committee has decided to award the Britannia Trophy for 1933 to Mr. J. A. Mollison for his fight from England, to Brazil to February, 1933. The Britannia Trophy is awarded each year to the aviator who, in the opinion

of the club, has accomplished the most meritorious performance dur- ing the year. Mr. Mollison flew from Lympne to Brazil in 82 hours 8 minutes, and was the first airman to cross both the North and South Atlantic oceans.
