MORRISON HALL WINS HOSTEL CHAMPIONSHIP

The annual athletic meet of trie held Hong Kong University was at Pokfulam on Saturday after- noon, in the presence of a large number of interested spectators. There was plenty of action and keen rivalry among the competi tors, no fewer than four records being broken, these being the Half Mile, 10,000 metres, Discus Throw, and Hop, Step and Jump.

Y.N. Tan won the victor Ludorum with 37 points, 15 points ahead of N. Vargassof, his nearest rival.

Inter-Hostel Shield "The Inter-Hostal Championship went to Morrison Hall with 110 points,

being St. John's Hall second with 69 points.

D.S. Blake who for the past few years has figured prominently in the local schools sports, broke two records, winning the half mile in Milltary XI 2.27.2, clipping 4 seconds off I. Tajima's 1924 mark, and the 10,000 metres in 41.7.5 to better A.T.
