TRAINING GALLOPS
JUST THAT IN GREAT TRIM
Covers Fast Three Quarters In Spite Of Bad Running In The Straight
The feature of yesterday morning's gallops at the course was the excellent per- formance of Mr. Seth's Australian pony, Just That, who, taken over three quarters of a mile by Mr. S. Y. Sung, came home in the excellent time of 1.25. The time would have been much better had the pony behaved properly in the home, straight but he was seen to swerve out badly.
The gallop of Soldier of Britain actually took place Tuesday and it will be. seen at once that this peny is an outstanding one. He took 1.31.2 for the three and the last half mile is 58.2 which is by far the best performance among quarters this year's griffins.
The Carp, City View, Chow Fan, and Cavalcade all did well in the subscrip tion griffins sections.

Mrs. Tottenham Wins Title
The lady champion for 1934 45 Mrs. R. E Tottenham. She beat Mrs. Sheidon on the Old Course, Fanling by 4 and 3 on Tuesday. Both finalists played good golf but Mrs. Tottenham WBS superior through the green particularly with long approaches. She played
very steady game and round in 84.

Mrs Sheldon drives & longer ball but on Tuesday she did not seem to play with her usual con- fidence. She started with a bril- llant 3 at the first where she sank a difficult put to win the hole, halved the second in 5 and lost the third in 4. She never had the lead again." She had a chance at the fourth where Mrs. Tottenham missed her drive and had to play out of the bunkara, but her second
