RECEIVING LICENCES, 1934
All Existing Licences expire on 31st December, 1933, New Licences for 1994 will be available at the Radio Office, P. & O. Building, as from 1st January, 1944 and will be issued during working hours against the receipt of a remittance of $10.00.
Applications may be made
(a) personally..
(b) by messenger.
(c) by post
It is essential under (c) and preferabla under (a) and (b). that applications should be accompanied by crossed cheque payable to Hongkong Government. The new licence will then be sent by post or messenger as soon as it is ready. Where actual cash is tendered a new licence should be received in exchange before leaving the Licensing Office.
In the case of renewal the uid licence should be returned with the application,
Post Office Private Box Holders, who haye not yet paid their rent for the year 1934, should pay the same at the counter, Chinese Branch, G.P.O. on or before Saturday, the 20th January, 1934; otherwise their Boxes will be closed without further notice.
Letters and postcards for Europe and South America are forwarded via Siberia" if so superscribed.
