G. R. Rees-Jones, of Ipswich School and University College, has been awarded his Blue as left wing three-quarter back in the Oxford team in succession to B. L. Walde, and no one will dispute his right to it. Rees-Jones is very young and comparatively inexperienced, but these factors did not prevent his selection for the Welsh trial match to-day. Rees-Jones is dis- tinctly fast, and he throws back his 'head and goes for the corner flag in a way to gladden the heart.
