“THERE GOES THE BRIDE”
At The King's on Sunday
When film lovers see Goes The Bride", they will also make acquaintance with one of the most outstanding examples of British studio work, viz., a com- plete reproduction complete, that is, to the smallest detail of the Care de Lyon? »
At the Gaumond-British Studios at Lime Grove, this astonishingly realistic set was built for "The Rome Express, and by special permission the stars were trans- ferred to Shepherd's Bush for the shooting of the station sequence, "This sequence is nothing less than ́a triumph of production.
Certainly it helps to preserve the French atmosphere of a picture in which the star Jessie Matthews, takes the role of a runaway Lilion

What would you do if you could five your life over again? Would you be able to make a sure success. of it, or would you be again grop- ing through it, uncertain as "to" what the future holds in "stora for you?'
In the current release at the │* Queen's Theatre, Metro-Goldwyn Mayer's Turn Back The Clocic" supplies one answer to the ques- lion Lee Tracy, as a struggling cigar store owner is carried back twenty years of his life and he' starts all over again. He marries the rich girl he might have mar ried, and, he attains the success that he had dreamed about in his real life, but in spite of his ex- perience" complications set in which make him realise that the lifa be had lived and the associa tions which he had formed the first time, were much more valuable to bim than the life he lived's second time and the friends and acquain- tances be made at his second "exist-
ence.
The picture is a clever one, and with Lee Tracy in the principal, role, there is plenty of wit and humour about it. Maa arke Otto Krüger and Peggy Shannon are excellent in the supporting cast and the picture can be recommend ed us..delightful entertainment f the lighter variety.
Preceeding the main picture is an interesting newsreel followed by one of the funniest cartoon entitled
The Bully," This is followed by *Beer and Pretzels" a short comedy which puts the house in very good
mood for the main picture, The. programme, on the whole, is very
